Have Yourself a Merry Christmas

Luke 2: 14

"Suddenly a great army of heaven's angels appeared with the angel, singing praises to God: Glory to God in the highest heaven, and peace on earth to those with whom he is pleased." Luke 2: 13 -14

The birth of Jesus marked the beginning of our salvation, man's restoration to our original relationship with God as intended by God in the beginning.

"Sin came into the world through one man, his sin brought death with it. As a result, death spread to the whole human race because everyone has sinned.
"But from the time of Adam to the time of Moses, death ruled over all human beings, even over those who did not sin in the same way that Adam did when he disobeyed God's command. Adam was a figure of the one who was to come.
"It is true that through the sin of one man death began to rule because of that one man. But how much greater is the result of what was done by the one man, Jesus Christ! All who receive God's abundant grace and are freely put right with God will rule in life through Christ."
"So then, as the one sin condemned all people in the same way the one righteous act sets all people free and gives them life. And just as all people were made sinners as the result of the disobedience of one man, in the same way they will all be put right with God as the result of the obedience of the one man." Romans 6 : 12 -19

God sent his only son to the world to die for our sins that we may all receive the free gift of salvation through his death on the cross. The story of God and us is the ultimate story of love. Everything God does has been motivated by his love for us from the beginning.

So as we celebrate this season, let's not forget the reason for this celebration; the coming of the messiah, Jesus Christ, who will return again one day, even sooner than we anticipate. Get right with God today. Take time to reflect how you've spent the year, how your relationship with God fared. I know I have a lot of reflection and work to do.

Merry Christmas everyone 🎄🎄🎄🎄
